Avodah Creatives started with Dexter and Alysha Gilbert, a creative duo who spent three years producing high-performing UGC for brands. Alysha stood as the face of the UGC campaigns and worked on content ideation, while Dexter handled videography, editing, and strategy.

As they continued to work with top-tier brands, they were soon at capacity and started to brainstorm on how they could scale their business to help more brands connect with their audiences through UGC. During this process, they came across other pain points within the UGC market. They noticed that many brands were outsourcing a variety of UGC creators (all differing in experience, style and creative direction). This resulted in a lack of consistent quality content, thus leading to a loss of brand alignment. Moreover, while customary UGC comprises of per-video rates combined with separate purchases of usage rights per month, this ultimately meant for many brands: too high investments in relation to their return.

After getting married in December 2023, Dexter and Alysha spent a year researching, refining strategies, and developing a solution. The result? Avodah Creatives—a full-service UGC agency handling everything from content ideation, planning and filming to editing and strategy, with paid ad usage included at no extra cost. While remaining true to the core values of UGC, our hybrid agency model combines experienced in-house creators, freelancers, and interns to deliver high-quality yet organic, cost-effective content while ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.
